Spring has Sprung

This evening I went out to fill my bird feeders and was greeted by one of the squirrels who nests in one of my tall trees. She's very bold. If she could reach the knocker on the door, she'd probably knock and ask for nuts. As I was (foolishly, I know) providing her with peanuts, I noticed we were being watched. There are 4 baby squirrels. I think this is the largest brood I've seen since I moved into this house. I know they are rodents, but they are so darn cute. I couldn't get them all to line up, but I did get a shot of 3 together. #4 was in the other tree, exploring on his or her own.

We are in the home stretch of the school year and not only am I exhausted, per usual, but I am also catching every bug that comes my way, not per usual. Hm. Radish is probably torturing Broccoli off to the left in Insalataville. Imagine what you will. I'll put the next one up when I'm not too tired to draw it. I'm anxious to know what happens next.
